Your February Guide to Pacific City

When visiting Pacific City in the winter, you will want to check if your favorite dining and shopping options are open. Some businesses will change their hours during the off-season, or even close for several weeks at a time. If you want to go somewhere in particular, be sure to check their hours in advance. Every month during the off-season, I will publish a blog post that details what’s open, what’s not, and when.

February Highlights

Last month was quiet in town, but things are picking up again this month! Here are some things to celebrate in February:

Riverhouse is Open

The Riverhouse officially reopened at the end of January, resuming regular hours: 4 to 9 PM Thursday through Sunday

Twist Wine Company is Open

After taking January off to relax, reset, and recharge, Twist Wine Company on Brooten Road reopened for business on February 1. They will resume normal hours – Thursday through Sunday, 12-7 PM, and open until 8 PM on Fridays and Saturdays.

The Grateful Bread is Reopening

Every year, the owners and staff at The Grateful Bread take six weeks off for maintenance and a well-deserved break. The breakfast and lunch spot on Brooten Road will reopen on Thursday, February 15 for its normal hours – Thursday through Monday, 8 AM to 2 PM.

Beach Walk Announces Smashburger Special

This month, Beach Walk is trying out a Smashburger Carry Out Special on the days they are usually closed. From 12 PM to 4 PM on Wednesdays and Thursdays (except Feb. 21), you can get Smashburgers TO GO only. More details, menu, and prices are available on their Facebook page.

PC Pour Winter Events

Owners Bob and Tina, and the team at PC Pour, do a great job of keeping nights and weekends fun even during the winters in Pacific City. Check out their schedule of events coming up in February and beyond. They host a mix of game nights, community talks, and art workshops led by locals. There’s something on the calendar for everyone!

Kiawanda Community Center Programming

Another great resource in town to find something to do in town is the Kiawanda Community Center (KCC) website. Check out their calendar of events where you can find all the details about walking groups, the Stitchers’ Club, yoga, line dancing, kids’ karate classes, and more.

Tillamook Library Events

The Tillamook Library network offers tons of great programming for adults and kids. Although many events are hosted at the larger libraries in Tillamook County, 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 3:30 PM, David at the Pacific City library hosts Storytime for kids of all ages.
