Your January Guide to Pacific City
When visiting Pacific City in the winter, you will want to check if your favorite dining and shopping options are open. Some businesses will change their hours during the off-season, or even close for several weeks at a time. If you want to go somewhere in particular, be sure to check their hours in advance. There are great shops, restaurants, and bars open daily in Pacific City. But if you want to visit someplace in particular, this is your one-stop resource for planning.
These are the Pacific City shops and restaurants that are open every day.
Fiddlesticks Toy Store
Fiddlesticks is the newest shop in Pacific City. It’s a great spot for kids to pick out a souvenir, or a toy that will keep them unplugged and entertained during your visit. Owned and run by Nancy Ford, who also owns Lucky Beach Boutique in the same Village Shops shopping center, Fiddlesticks is already proving to be very popular among locals and visitors alike!

Lucky Beach Boutique
Lucky Beach Boutique is a Pacific City staple. Veteran-owned and operated by Nancy Ford, who also owns the new Fiddlesticks Toy Store a few doors down, this is the best local spot for one-of-a-kind Pacific City clothing, shoes, home goods, jewelry, gifts, accessories, and more. The store features a well-curated collection of clothing, and many wares from Oregon Coast merchants.

Sportsman’s Pub and Grub
Sportsman’s, affectionately known as “Sporties”, is open 11am to 11:59pm, 7 days a week. The bar and restaurant is 21+ only, and it’s the local hang-out spot. Order a drink, eat some local Dory-caught fish and chips, or try something off the daily special board. Besides the fish and chips, our go-tos are the oyster shooters, the ribeye, and the jalapeno burger.

Cold Water Coffee
By far my favorite local coffee spot, Cold Water always has a fun latte special, creatively promoted on the chalkboard outside their shop in the Village Shops mall. This shopping area has so much in it. With your coffee in hand, you can stroll around the mostly covered space to shop for candy, gifts, toys, clothes, and more.

If you’re looking for a Pacific City hoodie, sweatpants, beach, or surf gear, check out Moment Surf Co. Here, you can also rent or purchase wet suits, surfboards, and other gear that will add to your Pacific City adventure. The Riverhouse is closed for the first 3 weeks of January, reopening Thursday, January 25 @ 4 PM.
